Anthony Park
Come home to your stunning natural sanctuary in southeast Springfield’s newest community. Anthony Park has been designed with the highest level of quality of life in mind. Our wooded acres and homesites offer you a space to relax, decompress, and spend time with family and friends.
Our Namesake: Anthony Park is proudly named after generations of the Anthony family who were the land’s first homesteaders. Dallas Sr. and Ida Anthony purchased these rolling acres around 1910, starting with just a one-room house they built close to the natural spring. In the years to follow they chased kids around, grew crops, kept bees, and milked cows twice a day. Dallas Anthony, Jr. was born there in 1917 and eventually became a prominent physician in Springfield, and raised three children; Jim, Dean, and Ann.
Today, Dallas and Ida’s grandson, Jim, recalls all the great memories his family had spending summers and weekends on their family farm and hopes that all those that live here in the future love it just as much.
